WHAT TO PACK. Follow the 3-layers rule to stay warm in Siberia.

➤BOTTOM LAYER: THERMAL UNDERWEAR Pay attention to the type of physical activity and the manufacturer's recommended temperature for using the kit. NO COTTON, heavy WOOL is the best

➤MIDDLE LAYER Fleece/wool sweater, synthetic insulator like Primaloft

➤TOP LAYER Insulated wind and water-proof hooded jacket and pants.

➤INSULATED MITTENS/GLOVES Choose fleece or other insulator. It is a smart idea to take thin gloves and down mittens. You can combine it and that would be the best protection for your fingers. For photography,

➤BALACLAVA OR INSULATED SCARF PIPE Since you will spend a lot of time outdoors, and strong winds often blow on Lake Baikal, we advise to protect your face. Alternatively, you can wind up with a regular scarf, but this is less convenient.

➤WARM WOOLEN HAT Choose double layer

➤WARM URBAN CLOTHING Convenient to walk, for example, in Irkutsk.

➤THERMAL OR WOOLEN SOCKS We recommend double layer

➤CLOTHES TO WEAR IN A HOTEL

    ➤SLEEPING CLOTHES

➤SWIMSUIT if you plan to visit Banya

➤SHOES: VERY IMPORTANT Comfortable tracking snow boots. NO sneakers. Choose boots with synthetic insulator.

➤Spare batteries for the camera, since in the cold the charge drops very quickly.

    ➤Additional memory card.

    ➤Charger.

    ➤Sunscreen and sun protection lipstick.

    ➤Sun glasses

➤Pocket or head flashlight. Remember you’re travelling to a very remote areas with limited night lighting
