Early in the morning we we will explore Koyash salt lake, which takes on a pinkish color in the warm season when salt evaporates. If we’re lucky, we might get a chance for a good photos at the sunrise. We will find yourself lost in the wild and vast expanses of the Opuksky national reserve to admire the flowering of the Crimean steppe in all its glory (expected to start at the end of March). The yellow-red-purple fields dotted with Shrenk tulips and irises are unique to this region.
Drive to Kerch, another ancient city of Crimea, vitising Turkish castle Eni-Kale, ancient Greek Pantikapei, mythic Mitridat King ladder.
Then, we travel to see this famous Crimean Bridge before transfer to airport for your evening departure flight from Simferopol where your tour ends. Alternatively, if you’d like to cross the entire bridge, you may continue the journey to the nearest airports – Krasnodar or Anapa (on request).
In May, Opuksky is famous for huge fields of wild poppy.
