Breakfast. Transfer to Thermalny & change to snowmobiles to get to the fishing site of Paratunka River or to one of its many tributaries. Depending on the distance of the place, moving can take from 30 minutes to one and a half hours.
The Paratunka River originates in the foothills of the Vilyuchinsky volcano, passes near Vilyuchinsk, Yelizovo and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and flows into the Avachinsky Bay of the Pacific Ocean. Length - 81 km, basin area - 1500 km2. The river is shallow, fast, with a large number of tributaries throughout its length. Salmon fish breeds spawn here: mikizh and kunja.
We choose a place of glue, drill holes and throw fishing rods. While we are waiting for the fish, we will warm up with hot tea to the stories of the guide about Kamchatka and local traditions.
Winter fishing is a test that requires patience and endurance. Frosts in Kamchatka are not too severe, but there are days when the temperature drops to 30 ℃ below zero.
A hot lunch awaits us 3 hours after the start of fishing, after which we will continue fishing. Until it gets dark, we collect catches, gear and on snowmobiles we go to the parking lot, from where we return to the city. We will be in a hotel at 7 p.m.
