Kazan Tour & Kremlin

The Kazan Kremlin, a stunning white-stone fortress, stands as a testament to over a thousand years of history and cultural exchange. From the late 13th to the early 15th century, it served as the heart of the Kazan principality, which was part of the powerful Golden Horde. In 1552, Ivan the Terrible's forces conquered Kazan, marking a pivotal moment in the region’s history. One of the most iconic landmarks of the Kremlin is the Suyumbike Tower, a structure renowned for its unique tilt, earning it the reputation of one of the few "falling" buildings in the world. The Kazan Kremlin, with its rich history and architectural significance, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognizing its cultural importance as a symbol of Tatarstan's past and its diverse history of influence from various cultures and languages.

Have lunch with delicious Tatar meals and learn the secrets of local cuisine at cooking master-class. After lunch, we continue the day with a city tour, Chak-Chak museum (the funniest museum you've ever been to) and a visit to a local cultural village. Evening is free at leisure. Kazan is unofficial Russia's beer capital with over 150 local craft beers available.
