Today we go Royal again, and travel to the famous palaces of the countryside. You will see renowned palaces of the Romanov imperial family. Pushkin/Tsarskoye Selo is the former Russian residence of the imperial family, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Top attractions include Catherine’s palace, Alexander’s palace and other buildings and parks. And we shall also have a look at—strange as it may seem—its own Chinatown.

The world-famous “Amber Room”, known as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’, is here in Catherine’s palace. Late afternoon is free to explore the city on your own.
